The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival is now clearly established as one of the premier country racing carnivals in Australia. Winner of the prestigious Racing NSW award for the ‘Most Popular Country Feature Race meeting’ in 2009, 2008, 2006, 2004 and 2003. The Albury Gold Cup is recognised as an icon event for the fast developing city of Albury. With over $670,000 in prize money, plus trophies and bonuses on offer over two days with the feature race – $180,000 Listed Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup (2000m).
With gates opening at 10.30am, please ensure you have either printed out your ticket or have it available for scanning from your phone.
Please note that all bags will be checked by security upon entry. Strictly no BYO alcohol, due to liquor licencing. We do have a variety of on course food outlets for you to choose from on the day.
We also ask for you to be respectful of others on the day, so please no umbrellas or chairs. There are tables and chairs with umbrellas located around the course for your use.
Please note the patrons aged between 18 and 30 will be checked for ID at the entry gate and be issued with a wristband by security.

How To Get There:
Matins Albury Buses will be operating from central Albury to the racecourse between 11.00am and 2.00pm departing continuously from the following stops:
• Atura Albury (Dean Street)
• QEII Square (Dean Street)
• Myer Centrepoint (David Street)
• Sodens Hotel
• Springdale Heights Tavern (Cnr Webb st & Kaitlers Rd)
• Centro Lavington (Griffith Road)
• Thurgoona Plaza
• Thurgoona Drive (opposite St Hillaire)
• Elizabeth Mitchell Dr & Quondong Streets
For the return trip, buses will be operating from the racecourse to central Albury between 4.30pm and 8.00pm dropping at Dean St, Lavington Shopping centre & Thurgoona on demand.
Cost of bus travel – $8 return or $5 one way.
There is limited car parking available at the racecourse. Patrons are encouraged to utilise either the bus service or taxis to get to and from the track.
